Hey folks, it’s been a minute! I’ve been out of the loop these past few weeks, caught up in the whirlwind of work. To make matters even more exciting, I was down for the count the last few days, feeling pretty sick. But hey, I’m back!

This past weekend was a breath of fresh air – my sister was in town from Minnesota. You know how it is with family: they’re always a riot to be around… most of the time, anyway! Between catching up and sharing laughs, it was a good reminder of what’s important.

On Saturday, I managed to sneak in a quick ride on my Harley. We didn’t go far – just about 100 miles – but it felt great to hit the road and feel the wind in my face again. Sometimes that’s all you need to reset the mind and soul.

And here we are, barreling toward the end of May already. I swear, time has a way of slipping through your fingers when you’re not paying attention. Kids keep growing, jobs keep moving, and the world just keeps spinning. And yes – for the record – I’m still firmly in the “the Earth is round” camp. Let’s not start any new debates today!

I’m still waiting for the day when I can truly call the road home, though I’m not sure when that day will come. For the record, I already do call the road home – just not exactly how I’ve envisioned it yet. My dream, as you know, is to take America by storm and see everything this country has to offer. I’m tired of answering to others. One day, I’ll take the leap and let the road decide where I land. Until then, I’m here… but I’m always looking for the next adventure.
