In the crisp embrace of autumn’s chill,
Leaves cascade down on the winds that thrill,
Crimson and gold, a vibrant parade,
Whispers of change in the soft sunlight’s fade.
Each leaf a story, once vibrant and green,
Now drifting away, like dreams unforeseen,
They dance to the ground, a soft, gentle fall,
Echoing childhood, the joy and the sprawl.
Growing up swift like the seasons that race,
With laughter that echoes, a familiar face,
Yet, just like the leaves, we too must let go,
Of innocence fleeting, as time starts to flow.
Roots once so firm in the soil of our youth,
Now stretch for the sky, seeking wisdom and truth,
As leaves fall around us, in colors so bright,
We learn to embrace both the day and the night.
For in every ending, a new start begins,
Like the leaves that must fall, only then does life spin,
So let us cherish each season, each breath,
In the dance of our lives, both in growth and in death.
